Role overview

The Senior Executive, People & Culture is the main HR point of contact for the Audit business unit. The position supports managers and employees across people-related matters and contributes to business partnering, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, engagement, and workforce planning. Over time, the role is intended to build broader HR business partnering capability.

This role reports to the Manager, People & Culture and collaborates with local stakeholders as well as the wider People & Culture team. It supports day-to-day HR operations while also helping drive initiatives that improve and standardise HR processes across the organisation.

Business partnering and stakeholder support

Act as the primary People & Culture contact for the Audit business unit and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, managers, and employees.

Guide managers through employee lifecycle matters such as confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits.

Advise on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.

Escalate sensitive, complex, or high-risk matters to the Manager, People & Culture when needed.

Support Singapore-wide People & Culture initiatives and projects as required.

Employee relations and performance management

Support managers in managing workplace and employee relations issues.

Assist with disciplinary cases, investigations, grievances, and employee concerns.

Help manage performance processes and development discussions.

Support managers in creating and following up on performance improvement plans.

Track employee patterns and flag possible people risks.

Recruitment, workforce planning, and budget support

Own recruitment activities for the Audit business unit.

Support hiring for other Singapore business units for roles up to Assistant Manager level.

Work with hiring managers on role requirements, candidate management, and hiring plans.

Contribute to workforce planning for the Audit portfolio.

Support annual budgeting by providing data on recruitment, headcount, and workforce planning.

Monitor vacancies, hiring progress, staff movements, and manpower needs for assigned portfolios.

Partner with the Manager, People & Culture on hiring and workforce planning needs across Singapore.

Assist with employer branding and talent attraction efforts.

Employee engagement and culture

Support engagement and wellbeing activities for the Audit business unit.

Work with managers to improve employee experience and retention.

Help with employee communications and change initiatives.

Take part in engagement survey follow-up and action planning.

HR operations and team support

Support the Executive, People & Culture with operational matters.

Serve as payroll backup by helping with payroll processing, verification, statutory submissions, and related activities to maintain continuity and compliance with company and legal requirements.

Assist with HR reporting and analysis of employee data.

Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently across the Audit portfolio.

Projects and group initiatives

Support the rollout of group and regional People & Culture initiatives.

Take part in HR projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.

Assist with organisational and change management efforts as needed.

Requirements

You should have at least 3 years of relevant HR experience.

A diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

You need a strong understanding of Singapore payroll practices, CPF, and IRAS requirements.

Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills are important.

You should have effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Experience with HRIS platforms such as Times Pro and Darwinbox, along with Microsoft Office, is expected.
