Role overview
This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity for an experienced coach or educator in Ireland. You will support high-achieving students through structured coaching that strengthens executive function, leadership, character development, and long-term success skills. The work is highly collaborative and centered on helping young learners build self-management, communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills in a supportive, goal-oriented setting.
The position is being handled by a partner organization that oversees applications and the next stages of the hiring process.
Core responsibilities
- Lead structured one-to-one coaching sessions that focus on executive function, leadership growth, and personal development.
- Evaluate each student’s strengths and improvement areas across leadership and executive function competencies.
- Create customized growth plans that reflect individual goals, skill priorities, and the program’s framework.
- Track progress using assessments, milestone tasks, coaching outputs, and weekly action plans.
- Help students build self-management, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Promote habits that support academic performance, personal effectiveness, and future professional success.
- Reinforce character traits such as resilience, integrity, initiative, empathy, curiosity, and self-motivation.
- Work alongside mentoring, strategy, and student success teams to deliver aligned and consistent support.
- Keep detailed records of coaching sessions, progress notes, and developmental milestones.
- Adjust coaching methods and use available resources to respond to changing student needs and program goals.
- Share feedback and observations to help improve the coaching program and overall effectiveness.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or PhD in coaching, counseling, psychology, education, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Professional experience working with youth, adolescents, or students in coaching, counseling, education, or similar developmental settings.
- A proven record of supporting student growth, wellbeing, and achievement through structured guidance and mentorship.
- Strong knowledge of executive function development, leadership abilities, emotional intelligence, and personal growth frameworks.
- Excellent coaching, communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in evaluating student needs and building individualized development plans.
- Ability to motivate, engage, and hold students accountable while maintaining a positive and encouraging coaching environment.
- Strong organizational ability and experience monitoring progress through assessments, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Leadership experience in educational, corporate, nonprofit, or public-sector environments is an advantage.
- Background in executive function coaching, leadership development, or student success initiatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with college admissions preparation, international education, or high-achieving student groups is helpful.
- Experience working with culturally diverse or international students is a plus.
