Role overview
The Senior Event Marketing Manager for the Americas will shape and lead the regional event marketing approach, with responsibility for audience expansion, brand strength, and commercial outcomes across Risk Global’s events and market access offerings. The role is fast-moving and cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with sales, product, and global marketing teams.
What you will do
- Create event marketing plans for the Americas in collaboration with Sales and Product stakeholders.
- Design and deliver integrated campaigns across multiple channels that support business goals.
- Build and implement marketing plans tailored to products, territories, and audience segments.
- Measure performance against KPIs, revenue objectives, and audience growth targets.
- Drive marketing for major flagship events such as Risk Live Boston, Energy Risk USA, Tech & Data in Financial Markets, and Risk Live Nashville.
- Set, manage, and refine marketing budgets to improve return on investment.
- Track market movements, competitor actions, and customer trends to guide strategy.
- Use internal and external data to support audience development and database expansion.
- Partner with global marketing colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and aligned campaigns across regions.
What is required
This position requires hands-on experience in event marketing, ideally within a B2B setting. The successful candidate should combine strategic thinking with strong delivery, project management, and communication skills.
- Proven background in event marketing, preferably in B2B.
- Ability to think strategically while managing execution effectively.
- Solid understanding of the marketing mix, including digital and direct channels.
- Track record of generating qualified leads and meeting revenue targets.
- Comfort working with data and turning insights into innovative marketing actions.
- Good grasp of market research methods and applications.
- Experience launching new products and supporting go-to-market activity.
- Strong capability in PPC, social media marketing, and campaign optimisation.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on accelerating revenue growth in the Americas.
- Ability to stay effective under pressure and solve problems proactively.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
