About the Role
As Senior Director for Sparkling Flavors at Sprite Europe, you will serve as the primary brand guardian, steering Sprite's brand and business agenda across 40+ European markets. This pivotal position requires strategic vision and authoritative leadership to foster long-term growth, cultural impact, and financial results. Collaborating closely with global brand teams, regional operating units, bottling partners, commercial functions, finance, and the IMX network, you will influence key decisions and orchestrate brand-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and guide the overarching brand and business strategy for Sprite in Europe, aligning with the global vision while tailoring for regional market leadership.
- Define a 10-year brand ambition, category role, and portfolio boundaries with a comprehensive enterprise perspective.
- Analyze macro consumer trends, cultural shifts, category dynamics, and system economics to inform actionable strategies for brand growth.
- Represent European strategic interests to shape the global strategy agenda.
- Lead portfolio and category management efforts, clarify Sprite's positioning within the broader beverage portfolio and collaborate with bottling partners for coordinated market execution.
- Oversee shadow P&L management, margin optimization, revenue growth management (RGM) partnerships, and capital allocation advisement.
- Direct the multi-year innovation masterplan including concept development through commercialization with focus areas such as zero-sugar, functional beverages, energy-adjacent categories, innovative packaging, and sustainability.
- Drive integrated brand-building excellence through the IMX masterplan, ensuring cohesive communication, digital marketing, experiential campaigns, partnerships, and shopper activation across markets.
- Lead pan-European brand platforms that deliver scalable, multi-market impact.
- Collaborate with commercial and channel teams to enable outstanding execution in retail, out-of-home, and eCommerce channels.
- Manage annual DME investment decision-making with an emphasis on maximizing ROI and strengthening brand equity.
- Embed best-in-class route-to-market strategies to enhance penetration, availability, and transaction growth.
- Lead and inspire diverse teams across markets and functions, fostering cultures of strategic clarity, creativity, commercial accountability, and experimentation.
- Serve as a senior thought partner to global brand leadership, system executives, and European operating unit leaders.
- Exemplify key leadership behaviors that encourage cross-market collaboration, transparency, and alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy or related discipline; MBA is highly preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive leadership in marketing and business within the FMCG, beverages, or rapid-growth consumer sectors.
- Extensive experience managing iconic global or regional brands with end-to-end brand strategy, commercial acceleration, and innovation leadership.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders, bottling partners, and cross-functional teams in complex matrix organizations.
- Strong financial expertise including P&L oversight, revenue growth management, forecasting, and investment prioritization.
- Deep knowledge of brand building, cultural strategy, digital ecosystems, and scalable integrated marketing (IMX) development.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams, driving transformational change, and cultivating high-performance environments.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influencing skills tailored to diverse global audiences.
Compensation and Location
The base annual salary range in Poland is 609000 to 810000 PLN, varying by location, expertise, and experience level. The position is based in Dublin, Ireland, with expected travel between 0% to 25%. Relocation assistance is not provided. The role includes a target annual incentive around 50% of base pay.
