Position Overview
As the Senior Director, Hospitality, you will serve as the strategic leader and operational head for client-focused hospitality initiatives. You will design, develop, and implement exceptional hospitality experiences that significantly impact business outcomes. This role demands extensive knowledge of hospitality, event management, and experiential environments, along with strong industry connections and an innovative mindset to craft standout programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive hospitality strategies and annual hosting plans that align with client business goals.
- Identify impactful hospitality opportunities and create engaging experiences to boost client engagement and brand presence.
- Innovate with culturally relevant ideas enhancing the distinctiveness and excellence of hospitality programs.
- Perform event portfolio analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimize programming.
- Lead the entire process of planning and executing hospitality events, from initial concept to post-event recap.
- Design event concepts, branding, guest experiences, and on-site execution frameworks.
- Provide leadership on-site during major events to guarantee flawless execution.
- Ensure all hospitality experiences meet client expectations, brand guidelines, and program objectives.
- Build trusted client relationships, coordinating hospitality strategies with account teams to align with broader business and growth targets.
- Identify opportunities to expand program scope, strengthen partnerships, and increase revenue.
- Integrate hospitality efforts with overall marketing, sponsorship, and business strategies.
- Leverage established vendor relationships across venues, hotels, catering, transportation, and experiential production to deliver top-tier experiences.

Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- 6 to 8+ years of experience in hospitality, event planning, experiential marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing corporate hospitality programs and events.
- Expertise in managing client relationships, vendor contracts, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Robust network within hospitality and experiential production sectors.
- Preferred experience in agency, sports marketing, or sponsorship environments.
- Strong strategic thinking coupled with meticulous execution skills.
- Financial expertise including budgeting, forecasting, and negotiation abilities.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills in dynamic settings.
- Leadership qualities to guide teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and Additional Information
The position offers an annual salary between $150,000 and $170,000, with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses. Salary may vary based on factors such as experience, tenure, sector, and location. This compensation information is provided in accordance with the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
