Job description
Role Overview
CallMiner is looking for a seasoned senior leader to shape and expand its brand, communications, and market presence on a global scale. In this position, you will influence how the company is seen by customers, prospects, analysts, media, employees, and the wider industry.
The role calls for a strategic communicator with more than 10 years of experience in fast-growing B2B technology or SaaS companies, ideally with exposure to both agency and in-house environments. You should bring strong depth in public relations, analyst relations, executive visibility, brand positioning, and content development, along with a track record of linking communication programs to business growth goals. This is a leadership position that combines executive-level strategy with direct execution, including messaging, content creation, relationship management, and ownership of high-priority initiatives.
This is a cross-functional role that works closely with product marketing, demand generation, sales, customer success, product teams, executive leadership, and external partners to build awareness, credibility, thought leadership, and commercial impact.
Location
Boston, MA is preferred, though remote work is supported.
Brand Strategy
- Create and run a unified brand plan that supports corporate goals, positioning, and go-to-market priorities.
- Maintain clear and consistent brand storytelling across all external communications and channels.
- Protect brand consistency across campaigns, assets, digital experiences, events, and corporate messaging.
- Guide how the brand evolves across internal and external company initiatives.
- Work with creative partners and outside vendors to deliver strong and coherent brand experiences.
Public Relations and Corporate Communications
- Own the company’s public relations strategy from planning through execution.
- Manage external PR agency relationships and measure their performance.
- Partner internally to surface and promote strong stories about the company, customers, products, and industry trends.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, corporate updates, executive communications, blog content, and external messaging.
- Lead executive thought leadership efforts, including bylines, blogs, social media, and media interviews.
- Direct the strategy for corporate and product award entries.
- Shape social media direction so it supports broader brand and communications goals.
Analyst Relations
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product teams to build and implement the analyst relations plan.
- Develop and sustain relationships with important analysts at firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, DMG, and others.
- Coordinate analyst briefings, responses to inquiries, and participation in key market reports and evaluations.
- Track analyst research, market shifts, and competitor positioning to find opportunities for visibility and influence.
Content and Thought Leadership
- Lead the editorial direction and content roadmap so it supports business priorities and go-to-market efforts.
- Oversee development of high-value thought leadership and educational content, with help from an external freelancer, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and executive material.
- Work with internal experts and external contributors to produce content that drives awareness and supports pipeline creation.
- Keep themes and messaging aligned across marketing channels and programs.
- Partner with demand generation and field marketing teams on integrated campaigns and sponsored content initiatives.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience in brand marketing, corporate communications, public relations, or a related function within B2B technology or SaaS organizations.
- Background in both agency and in-house settings is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead integrated brand and communications programs that create measurable business results.
- Strong experience in media relations and analyst relations.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, editing, and executive communication skills.
- Experience working with agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology markets and go-to-market organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline is preferred.
