Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong background in marketing automation to join the team. This position focuses on improving customer engagement through CRM, automation, and digital performance marketing. You will shape personalised customer journeys, run email campaigns, strengthen digital campaign performance, and turn data into practical recommendations that improve results.
Working with the wider marketing team and external agency partners, you will help deliver consistent and seamless customer experiences across several digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver the strategy for CRM and one-to-one customer communications.
- Build, refine, and optimise automated customer journeys and marketing workflows in SFMC.
- Own the planning, launch, testing, and improvement of EDM campaigns.
- Handle CRM audience segmentation, personalised messaging, and lifecycle marketing activity.
- Partner with the media agency to plan, run, and enhance paid digital marketing activity.
- Track campaign outcomes and look for ways to increase engagement, conversions, and customer retention.
- Review campaign performance through Google Analytics and other reporting tools, then share findings and recommendations.
- Oversee website and campaign tracking in Google Tag Manager to support accurate measurement and reporting.
Skills and experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, and marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or another enterprise CRM platform.
- Good working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to develop and manage automated customer journeys and email marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical ability with a clear focus on turning data into action.
- Experience with segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
