Role Overview
The Senior Court Registry Officer position at Auckland District Court is a secondment opportunity available until June 2027. This new senior role invites experienced Court Registry Officers to take on increased responsibilities in a more specialised environment, leveraging their professional judgment and expertise to handle complex tasks at an elevated level.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior CRO, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth operation of Justice Services within the Civil and Family Court. Your role involves delivering excellent customer service, overseeing efficient case progress, and providing effective judicial support. You will apply your advanced knowledge to resolve intricate and technical issues, ensure consistent adherence to court processes and statutory duties, and support your peers through mentoring and sharing expertise.
Essential Skills and Experience
Success in this role demands strong judgment, confident decision-making, and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations professionally. Desired qualifications include handling high-risk or complicated cases, mentoring or training colleagues, contributing to improvements in service or processes, working well with diverse groups, and maintaining resilience and professionalism under pressure.

Compensation Details
The annual salary range for this senior role is $67,066 to $90,008 NZD. The exact remuneration will be determined based on skills and experience, with flexibility to offer higher pay to attract exceptional candidates.
