Job Overview
The role entails crafting and executing strategic sales plans for TWG Tea to uphold and expand enduring, beneficial client partnerships. This position demands adept communication and the ability to serve as an intermediary between customers and management, while contributing innovative ideas pertaining to product uniqueness.
Work Relationships
Reporting lines include direct supervision by Sales Directors or Senior Sales Managers and indirect oversight from the Deputy Managing Director. Collaboration is crucial with corporate sales team peers, logistics, marketing, the Tea Institute, warehouse units, as well as international partners and franchisees. Client coordination focuses primarily on HORECA sector customers locally and internationally.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients by supporting order processing, responding to inquiries, and maintaining account services.
- Oversee corporate client accounts and actively pursue new business development opportunities within this segment.
- Foster and sustain excellent relations with existing clientele through routine interactions.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate benefits and features to both prospective and current customers.
- Participate in sales-related activities, including conferences, meetings, and audits.
- Manage pre-sales processes such as quote generation and inquiries.
- Ensure sales fulfillment accuracy and timeliness in delivery per customer orders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in sales, client relationship management, or account servicing.
- Background in Food & Beverage, luxury retail, or hotel industries is favorable.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Fluency in an additional language such as Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, or French to effectively engage a diverse clientele including franchise stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with a solid sense of accountability and goal orientation.
- Strong skills in organization, analysis, and task follow-up.
- Ability to perform well under stress and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Consistent positive representation of the TWG Tea brand image.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach within team settings.
