Role Overview
We seek a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Ireland with flexible, hybrid working options. Our team has nearly two decades of experience supporting major infrastructure and development projects through effective engagement, consultation, and communication during key project phases. You will be responsible for designing and delivering communication and consultation strategies to connect with diverse audiences and stakeholders, facilitating client relationships, and supporting business development opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop communication strategies, project narratives, key messages, and materials tailored for audiences including digital users, media, local communities, officials, and technical groups.
- Manage communication channels effectively to support project goals.
- Identify and map stakeholders, establishing engagement strategies and managing consultation activities including surveys and feedback analysis.
- Plan and execute both physical and virtual events, ensuring participant safety, logistical success, and preparation of tailored content and briefing materials.
- Liaise regularly with internal teams and external clients to maintain high customer service and provide accurate reporting.
- Build internal networks to identify new project opportunities and participate in proposal and tender development.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering communications, stakeholder engagement, and consultation on projects of varying scope, with preference for major infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with sectors such as infrastructure, energy, water, transport, and development, and ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong initiative, ambition, and ability to work independently or collaboratively, bringing innovative ideas to engagement practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, cultural awareness, and commitment to inclusion and accessibility, valuing community influence on projects.
- Willingness to work flexibly and travel as needed for client and team interactions.
- Degree or equivalent experience in social sciences, humanities, law, business, or related disciplines.
