Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Senior Consultant to join our People Consulting team in Auckland or Wellington. Your fresh ideas and innovative mindset will help lead this high-performing group. The role focuses on delivering workforce-related solutions and projects across the change spectrum for various clients.

Key responsibilities include implementing solutions, formulating recommendations and reports, preparing client presentations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advise on change and learning initiatives. You will also contribute actively to the People Consulting community by supporting inclusion, belonging, and team performance.

Candidate Profile and Skills

While not mandatory to meet all criteria, successful candidates usually demonstrate strong expertise in one or more of the following:

• Change management practices, including strategy, stakeholder management, communication, readiness, sponsorship, training needs, learning content design, and employee experience. Experience with digital platforms such as SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, or emerging technology like AI is a plus.
• HR transformation or broader business process transformation with competencies in HR strategy, HRIS/technology, payroll, outsourcing, policy design, HR risk, and talent management areas like operating models, organization design, workforce planning, analytics, retention, and succession planning.
• At least three years of consulting experience, demonstrating commercial and strategic acumen, client relationship building, and tailored solution delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of establishing authentic connections, engaging diverse stakeholders, and translating complex concepts effectively, alongside strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Practical use of digital and AI technologies to improve operations, support data-driven decisions, and advance transformation programs.
• Experience in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing is advantageous.
• Preferred certifications include AIM, CPCM, ATD Change Management, PROSCI/CCMP/APMG, Agile Change Management certifications, PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL for IT service change management, and Lean Six Sigma.
