Position Overview
Join Deutsche Bank's Management Consulting (DBMC) team as a Senior Consultant, holding the corporate title of Assistant Vice President. DBMC acts as an internal consultancy partner to senior leadership, driving the bank's strategic agenda through actionable initiatives with clear outcomes. The team supports the bank’s transformation projects by collaborating with various business units and infrastructure functions globally.
Engagements and Exposure
Projects span strategic growth, product innovation, process enhancements, risk and regulatory changes, generative AI implementation, and organizational design. This provides extensive exposure to the bank’s key objectives and opportunities to collaborate with multiple project teams and senior stakeholders.
Work Environment
The team operates from London, Frankfurt, and Mumbai, offering a diverse multicultural workplace with frequent interaction across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within project teams supporting bank-wide change and strategic programs.
- Engage directly with internal clients and subject matter experts, independently managing meetings.
- Analyze problems, generate insights, and formulate recommendations for senior decision-makers.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and analytical reports.
- Champion internal initiatives including Diversity & Inclusion, collaborating with consultants across global offices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Practical experience in financial services and management consulting environments.
- Familiarity with business areas such as Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, or infrastructure functions like Operations and Transformation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills to solve complex challenges with detailed and innovative approaches.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality output for senior management, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Exceptional communication abilities suited for an international workplace.
- Results-driven mindset focused on delivering value for the organization and clients.
