Senior Business Transformation Consultant – AI Strategy, Growth & Innovation

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Transformation Consultant specializing in AI strategy, growth initiatives, and innovation to join our advisory team. This remote role, open to candidates based anywhere, involves working directly with senior executives and operational leaders to evaluate current organizational practices, uncover improvement opportunities, and formulate actionable recommendations focused on AI and technology-driven transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct executive interviews, stakeholder workshops, and thorough assessments of current state operations and workflows.
• Analyze organizational frameworks, management methods, customer journeys, and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and transformation potential.
• Develop comprehensive findings, pragmatic recommendations, business cases, governance frameworks, and detailed implementation roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on responsible and practical applications of AI, automation, emerging digital technologies, and data strategies.
• Design governance mechanisms including roles, decision-making authorities, approval workflows, KPIs, and reporting structures.
• Facilitate organizational change by aligning stakeholders, producing documentation, and planning for training and adoption.
• Advise on growth strategies, market positioning, service development, commercialization, and enhancing customer experience.
• Create innovation concepts, develop service frameworks and playbooks, and design technology-enabled business solutions.
• Participate as a subject matter advisor in client and commercial discussions.
• Evaluate implementation needs, risks, resource requirements, and projected business impact.
• Coordinate the transition of approved plans to project delivery teams.
• While some business development might be involved, the focus is primarily on management consulting and advisory services rather than routine sales.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven extensive experience in management consulting, business transformation, AI strategy, innovation, or related fields like technology, marketing, operations, or customer experience.
• Track record advising executives and facilitating senior stakeholder engagements.
• Expertise in analyzing organizational structures, operating models, workflows, and management systems.
• Deep understanding of AI, automation, digital platforms, data strategies, and technology-enabled change.
• Skilled in developing business cases, governance frameworks, strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and performance metrics.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess strategic alignment, feasibility, risks, and expected business outcomes.
• Excellent skills in written communication, presentations, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Capability to independently handle multiple complex client projects and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Preferred Background

• Experience commercializing technology-based services or launching new business models.
• Expertise in customer experience strategy, service design, innovation, creative technologies, or interactive systems.
