Role Overview
We seek a Senior Business Recruiter to lead comprehensive recruitment efforts for Pinterest's global business teams. This position requires managing end-to-end hiring cycles across multiple functions, partnering closely with hiring leaders, and ensuring a candidate-centric experience from initial contact through offer acceptance. You will leverage market insights, strategic judgment, creativity, and empathy to construct dynamic teams that thrive and align with Pinterest's culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitments primarily for roles within the Global Business Organization, including product marketing, sales strategy and operations, performance solutions, measurement, content, data analysis, and project management.
- Support recruitment for other teams such as Marketing, Sales, or additional business units on occasion.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define aligned search plans encompassing intake discussions, candidate profiling, process structuring, and closing strategies.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies by proactive outreach, talent pipeline development, and targeted search initiatives.
- Provide talent market intelligence, including market mapping, competitor talent analysis, and pipeline trend reporting to facilitate informed and equitable hiring decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners including HR, compensation, finance, and legal for search progression, decision alignment, and offer creation.
- Maintain high pipeline integrity and operational efficiency through meticulous data management, forecasting, and timely communications.
- Lead offer negotiations and closing strategy focusing on compensation alignment, candidate motivation, and engagement through acceptance.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance research, strategy formulation, outreach communication, and workflow efficiencies, assuring quality and accuracy through vigilant oversight.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes.
- Proven ability to engage passive candidates, build pipelines, and deliver inclusive experiences focused on candidates’ needs.
- Expertise in search strategy, talent market mapping, and applying data insights to support decision-making and communicate trade-offs.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with hiring managers and cross-functional teams, navigating ambiguity to expedite hiring decisions.
- Experience recruiting for business and sales support roles such as operations, project/program management, measurement, performance solutions, data analytics, content, and corporate functions; quick adaptability to new functions preferred. Technical recruitment exposure is a plus.
- Capability to handle multiple concurrent searches and prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated use of AI to increase speed and recruitment quality while maintaining accountability for final outcomes and safeguarding sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

- In-office presence is required occasionally for collaboration, necessitating residence within commuting distance of Pinterest offices or People Team hubs located across major U.S. cities including San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz, San Diego, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tri-state area, Seattle, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Denver, Charlotte, Portland, and Miami/Fort Lauderdale.
- Salary range for this position is $98,561 to $202,918 annually, with eligibility for equity grants. Final compensation depends on location, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
