The company emphasizes an inclusive workplace where employees are valued as individuals and treated with dignity and respect.

Role Overview

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support Supply Chain Procurement with reliable reporting, dashboards, and practical analytics. The role centers on building and maintaining Power BI solutions that improve visibility into spend, supplier performance, sourcing results, contract adherence, cost productivity, and operational KPIs. The position works closely with procurement stakeholders, process owners, and digital/data teams to turn business needs into scalable reporting products that support better decisions and stronger operational control. This is a pay grade 25 role suited to a strong individual contributor with hands-on experience in Power BI, data modeling, reporting governance, and stakeholder management in a matrixed enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for procurement performance, spend visibility, supplier scorecards, sourcing outcomes, and KPI tracking.

Build scalable semantic models in Fabric workspaces and connect them to data lakes or data warehouses.

Develop business logic with DAX and Power Query (M) so calculations remain consistent and reusable.

Bring together and transform data from ERP, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, and Fabric Pipelines, including inputs from on-premise and cloud sources.

Maintain high standards of data accuracy and completeness across dashboards, semantic models, and reporting outputs.

Publish, secure, monitor, and support Power BI reporting solutions, including workspace management, access control, refresh schedules, distribution, and production lifecycle support.

Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, prioritize requests, and convert analytical requirements into usable solutions and insights.

Act as a procurement and spend analytics subject matter expert, helping define metrics, interpret performance trends, resolve data/reporting issues, and support leadership decisions.

Improve dashboards, semantic models, and reporting workflows to increase relevance, efficiency, and user adoption.

Help reduce manual reporting and support digital enablement or automation efforts with relevant teams.

Stay up to date with Microsoft analytics capabilities, especially Power BI and related platform enhancements.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, analytics, statistics, supply chain, business, or a related discipline.

4–7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or digital enablement roles.

At least 4 years of hands-on Power BI development experience in an enterprise setting.

Strong command of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows, pipelines, or integrated analytics workflows.

Good SQL skills and experience working with structured enterprise datasets.

Proven experience creating dashboards and KPI reports for business users with a strong focus on accuracy, usability, and quality.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the skill to turn business needs into practical reporting solutions.

Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across matrixed teams and stakeholder groups.

Preferred Background

Experience with ERP, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management platforms.

Understanding of procurement and spend analytics, including spend visibility, category insights, supplier performance, savings tracking, and compliance reporting.

Ability to serve as a trusted procurement and spend analytics advisor by influencing metrics, business context, priorities, and cross-stakeholder insights.

Exposure to Azure, Microsoft Fabric, APIs, or enterprise analytics platforms.
