Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager - CGM India Futures Execution

Role Overview

The Technology Lead Business Analyst is a senior role that serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to facilitate clear, logical communication. The aim is to continually analyze business performance metrics to provide insights that aid strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders, sales teams, and product specialists to develop and enhance the Futures Trading platform for CGM India.
• Conduct functional testing of the India Order Management System interfacing with NSE and BSE exchanges.
• Maintain expertise on electronic trading policy requirements and coordinate with internal trading control groups to manage new compliance needs.
• Interpret India trading regulatory mandates, work with vendors for appropriate solutions, and guide QA teams on testing methodologies.
• Create innovative technical solutions to fulfill business demands and handle complex, large-scale applications jointly with business partners and stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple ongoing work streams and applications across different geographies focused on Credit Initiation and Onboarding processes.
• Help develop and refine strategies, processes, product roadmaps, governance frameworks, and spearhead new automation efforts.
• Craft communications that effectively influence and persuade colleagues and external customers alike.
• Offer expert advice on technology and operational matters, filtering and validating complex information from diverse sources.
• Manage day-to-day team operations including resource allocation, mentoring both onsite and offshore personnel, and other related duties.
• Exercise prudent risk assessment when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards to protect the firm, clients, and assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business or systems analysis roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of India’s trading platforms on NSE and BSE.
• Proven skills in managing vendor relationships.
• Specific experience with Futures electronic trading platforms is critical.
• Expertise in utilizing planning tools and delivering effective presentations.
• Strong analytical and diplomatic abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to navigate complex issues with significant potential impact by evaluating options and balancing competing priorities.

Education Requirements

• A bachelor’s or university degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
