About the Role

Team Overview
The Core Trade Network team was established following Citi's re-organization and encompasses various Trade Services offerings, including Letters of Guarantee, Import/Export Letters of Credit, and Documentary Collections. This position supports the Middle East & Africa Network team by providing product expertise across the region, reporting directly to the Network Head. Collaboration with the global Core Trade Network team, product pillars, and operational partners is essential to drive sales pipeline management, quality trade product delivery, and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Core Trade product portfolio within the cluster, overseeing stakeholder relationships and aligning cluster strategy with the global business plan.
- Drive revenue growth by developing product plans and promoting innovation and new trade corridors to increase market share and maintain Citi's competitive stance.
- Implement simplification initiatives, establish global standards alongside local configurations, and enhance connectivity across the network and corridors.
- Engage in active network management by benchmarking proprietary and third-party products to support strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated capability in managing a complex, extensive geographic region.
- Relevant experience in corporate finance.
- Comprehensive understanding of trade products, especially structured trade involving large and intricate transactions.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Commitment to adhering to Central Bank of Kenya's Prudential Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and Citi's internal policies and standards.
