Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), ranking as the 10th largest bank globally by total assets, operates its vibrant second largest IT hub for global operations in Singapore. This center drives innovative solutions, supporting international branches in 30 countries by envisioning future information systems, facilitating key banking projects, and delivering premium in-house banking applications, thereby providing a market edge through technology.

The Sales IT team particularly empowers Front Office activity by enabling product integration and business process automation.

Role Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will focus on SALES applications, particularly the PRICE pre-trade system used by Sales teams to pre-book and record Rates deals, supporting both project development and operational maintenance. This position demands intricate knowledge of business operations, workflow timing, and data system interactions, ensuring holistic support from requirement gathering through post-deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and redesign business processes, identifying gaps and change management needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating smooth adoption of new workflows.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis including identifying authoritative data sources, specifying data mappings, documenting data lineage, and overseeing data migration and quality assurance activities.
  • Map out the PRICE application ecosystem, perform impact assessments for upstream and downstream integrations, and coordinate seamlessly with technical teams to ensure system cohesiveness.
  • Engage extensively with developers and business stakeholders, acting as a bridge to clarify requirements, provide L3 functional support, and foster collaborative teamwork.
  • Define and implement test strategies including BDD user scenarios, contribute actively to integration and user acceptance testing, and evaluate functional impacts on service-level agreements and operational level agreements.
  • Participate in production deployments, prepare functional prerequisites, conduct user trainings with supporting materials, and ensure thorough post-launch monitoring and continuous functional support.
  • Develop and maintain team knowledge, deliver onboarding and training sessions, manage documentation arsenals, and proactively research existing solutions to promote reuse and avoid redundancies.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

  • Advanced degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science, IT, Systems Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum eight years of business analyst experience within market finance, specifically with a strong focus on Front Office Fixed Income Rates products.
  • In-depth understanding of Interest Rate Derivatives such as Swaps, Swaptions, Caps/Floors, FRAs and pre-trade RFQ workflows, pricing models, and key risk metrics.
  • Strong familiarity with trading infrastructure including Front Office and Risk Management platforms (e.g., Orchestrade), MarkitWire platform, and external financial data sources (Bloomberg, Reuters/Refinitiv).
  • Practical knowledge of FPML and static market data management including reference, price, and market conventions data.
  • Technical skills encompassing Python for analytics and automation, SQL and Excel for data handling, and DevOps tools like GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and manage diverse stakeholders, with familiarity in issue tracking tools like Jira.
