Job Overview
The Global Investment Banking division within Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) provides advisory services relating to mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, and specialized financing. This opportunity is for a permanent position as an Investment Banking Associate or Vice President focused on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
Primary Duties
- Assist in executing ongoing M&A and equity capital market transactions.
- Lead efforts in preparing marketing materials and comprehensive financial models.
- Contribute to assembling transaction documents such as teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Conduct in-depth company and financial analyses.
- Manage and organize due diligence procedures through virtual data rooms.
- Engage directly with clients throughout the transaction process.
Candidate Profile & Skills
- Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant experience in investment banking.
- Hold a finance-related academic degree with a strong scholastic record.
- Proven track record in M&A transactions with both financial sponsors and corporations (deal documentation required).
- Exemplary analytical, financial modeling, and communication capabilities.
- Ability to produce high-quality work within challenging deadlines.
- Dependable, motivated, and meticulous with a team-oriented mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both English and German languages is mandatory.
