Job Overview
The Senior Business Analyst & Client Success Coordinator at SmartLight Analytics partners strategically with self-insured employer clients by blending advanced healthcare claims data analysis with dedicated client relationship management. Supporting senior account executives, this role focuses on generating actionable insights to enhance healthcare program outcomes and ensure top-tier client satisfaction. The role demands strong analytical ability and a client-centered approach to communicate complex information effectively to varied audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and automate reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to facilitate continuous monitoring and stakeholder insight access.
- Convert intricate data sets into understandable, actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to both technical and general audiences.
- Engage in routine client meetings, strategic evaluations, and deliver presentations.
- Work closely with internal departments including data science, clinical operations, investigative teams, and leadership to ensure flawless service delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive clients, aiding in account growth.
- Analyze client performance data and feedback ensuring analytics solutions meet or surpass expectations.
- Conduct on-demand analyses supporting client requests and strategic projects.
- Develop and present client-facing reports and communications highlighting key metrics, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Manage and prioritize competing requests, especially urgent or high-impact tasks.
- Provide assistance to account managers as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience working with healthcare claims data analytics.
- Over 2 years of proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Minimum 2 years in client-facing roles involving account management, client success, or consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to apply data analytics effectively in business performance contexts.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and database management.
- Experienced with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages including R, Python, SAS, or SPSS.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline management.
- Skilled in identifying actionable insights and trends within large datasets.
