Role overview
This opportunity is for an experienced brand marketer to support Jordan Brand in New York City, with a focus on the North America market. The role sits at the intersection of sport, streetwear, and culture, and calls for someone who can champion the consumer voice, especially the NYC consumer known here as the Defier. A strong understanding of New York City cultural trends, the athletic space, and community influence is essential.
Compensation
The annual base pay for this position is expected to fall between USD 85,300 and USD 168,800, depending on the market, as well as the candidate’s location, background, skills, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do
You will help plan and deliver Jordan Brand marketing initiatives across sport, streetwear, energy, and seasonal programming. The work includes strengthening the brand, building consumer demand, and deepening engagement with target consumers through digital, live events, and other relevant touchpoints. You will also support seasonal product purchasing, inventory coordination, and budget management to help ensure programs are executed on time.
Part of the role involves building meaningful ties with consumer groups, identifying key influencers, and staying close to market movement. You will be expected to help create a strong local connection with communities and consumers in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and deliver seasonal integrated marketing programs across multiple channels.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
- Manage product sourcing, coordination, and smooth inclusion into marketing programs.
- Own projects from insight gathering through launch and activation with strong operational discipline.
- Develop and combine consumer and market insights to shape strategy.
- Build and sustain relationships with consumers, local communities, and grassroots organizations.
- Partner with internal teams to shape, adjust, extend, and execute consumer experiences across physical and digital touchpoints.
- Coordinate with finance and Brand Planning and Operations to monitor spend and stay within allocated budgets.
- Write briefs for and oversee external agencies.
- Collect and synthesize insights on the Jordan Brand consumer to better serve the next generation in New York City.
- Contribute as a strong collaborative teammate across all workstreams.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a closely related field is preferred; equivalent education, experience, and training may also be considered.
- Clear passion for and knowledge of the NYC consumer, community leaders, trends, product, and local influence drivers.
- Strong relationship-building ability with both internal teams and external partners.
- At least 3 years of experience in consumer marketing, retail marketing, digital brand marketing, or a related area.
- Excellent written, visual, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Comfort working both collaboratively and independently when needed.
- Ability to manage several concurrent priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and creator-led content.
- Curious, creative, and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- High attention to detail across both large and small workstreams.
