About the Role
This position involves leadership of brand strategy for a well-established wine and spirits company, located in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires a proactive marketer who excels in a collaborative setting and is dedicated to developing iconic consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement yearly brand strategies and business plans aimed at growing market share and overall brand growth.
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital, social media, trade marketing, events, and shopper marketing channels.
- Utilize syndicated and consumer insights data to recognize market trends, enhance performance, and influence strategic business choices.
- Manage the comprehensive marketing mix including pricing, promotional activities, packaging, innovation, creative development, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams from sales, finance, operations, digital marketing, trade marketing, and external agencies.
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Communicate performance reports and strategic proposals to executive and commercial leadership.
- Drive innovation initiatives and contribute to shaping the brand’s future trajectory.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years in brand marketing within the wine, spirits, or beverage alcohol industry, preferably.
- Proven track record of managing consumer brands with progressive career advancements.
- Experienced in team leadership with a passion for talent development and coaching.
- Strong commercial insight, capable of managing marketing budgets and utilizing data analytics to inform decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an executive presence.
- Strategic yet hands-on approach, comfortable in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments.
Additional Information
