Overview
BMW Group Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Brand Experience and Sponsorship Specialist to join their Marketing team in Melbourne. This role involves designing and executing premium brand activations, managing sponsorships, and coordinating events that demonstrate the excellence and innovation of the BMW brands. Collaboration with internal teams, agency partners, and BMW counterparts is integral to delivering high-quality customer and dealer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee premium experiential activations for BMW, coordinating efforts between internal teams, external suppliers, and agencies.
- Manage the execution of sponsorships and partnerships, including overseeing entitlements, communicating with dealers, and managing allocation processes.
- Organize engaging dealer and customer events such as conferences and product launches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event agencies and work closely with departments including Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Communications.
- Handle event budget management, identify opportunities to optimize impact and efficiency, and generate post-event insights and reports.
- Support and mentor the Brand Experience Graduate through onboarding, development, and ongoing guidance.
Candidate Profile
- Tertiary qualifications in event management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
- Over five years of experience orchestrating events of varying complexity, with automotive industry experience considered an asset.
- Proven track record in leading junior staff, managing diverse stakeholders, and establishing trusted relationships with partners both internally and externally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills complemented by excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Financial literacy in budget handling and flexibility to travel or work beyond conventional hours as needed.
