Senior Associate - Procurement and Supply Chain Advisory

About the Role

Join PwC India as a Senior Associate in the Advisory line of service, specializing in Managed Services within the Supply Chain and Operations domain. This role focuses on optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing supply chain processes to drive performance and productivity across client organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end implementation of functional workstreams such as Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), including design, configuration, testing, post-deployment support, reporting, and training.
• Conduct requirement gathering and design effective solutions catering to business needs.
• Perform business process mapping, process re-engineering, and gap analysis to recommend best-fit solutions.
• Advise clients on adopting best practices to streamline and standardize Source-to-Pay processes.
• Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) teams to ensure alignment of business applications and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with integration leads to guarantee seamless, end-to-end system deployment as per client specifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes within budget.
• Manage Project Management Office (PMO) activities.
• Prepare training materials, user manuals, and conduct training sessions to facilitate user adoption.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement for Source-to-Pay production systems, working closely with business process owners.
• Develop business cases to secure desired project outcomes.
• Support business development efforts by responding to RFPs, preparing sales proposals, identifying leads, and delivering client presentations and demos.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, leadership, and result-driven engagement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement Transformation, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Cost Reduction, Business Process Excellence, or Source-to-Pay system implementations (e.g., Ivalua, SAP Ariba, Coupa).
• Strong functional expertise in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Supply Chain, or Procurement coupled with solid project management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel within India and to other PwC network locations across APAC and MEA regions.
• Preferred consulting industry experience is a plus.
• Certification or exposure to Source-to-Pay systems and SAP MM module is advantageous.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E), MBA, or MCA.
