Associate - GenAI Data Scientist / Python Developer

About the Role

We invite you to join as an Associate specializing in Regulatory Risk and Compliance Services within PwC India's Tax line of service, located in Bengaluru. This position focuses on helping clients revamp their risk approaches, build robust internal controls through technology and analytics, and enhance compliance policies and business efficiency.

Role Overview

As a GenAI Data Scientist / Python Developer, you will develop, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art generative AI models and machine learning systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful, data-driven solutions addressing intricate business challenges leveraging Salesforce and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy generative AI architectures such as GPT, GANs, and VAEs.
• Enhance model scalability, accuracy, and performance through tuning and optimization.
• Deploy AI solutions in production environments using major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and follow MLOps best practices.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, and validate predictive models using advanced machine learning methods.
• Develop robust Python code, maintain data pipelines, APIs, and scripts to automate workflows and integrate AI models with existing software.
• Work closely with stakeholders including data engineers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Communicate model insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and stay updated with AI advancements.

Mandatory Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models and natural language processing techniques.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical model development.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services including AWS, GCP, Azure and implementation of MLOps pipelines.
• Experience with Git version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to containerization and orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Industry experience in pharma, finance, or retail sectors for AI application development.
• Contributions to AI/ML research, communities, or conferences are advantageous.

Experience and Education

• Minimum of 3 years in data science, AI, or machine learning implementations with a record of deploying AI in production environments.
• Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
