Role Overview
The Senior Analyst in Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis will significantly contribute to SunPower's strategic and operational financial decision-making. This position is full-time and based onsite in the Louisville Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, analyzing variances from budgets and previous periods, and providing insights aimed at enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.
The role demands close collaboration with corporate finance, accounting, operations teams, and executive leadership to consolidate company-wide financial plans, assist with annual budgeting and long-term planning, and evaluate financial viability of new projects. The Senior Analyst will also participate in improving FP&A processes and tools, maintain data accuracy, and communicate actionable financial insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance investigation.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and handling large datasets, with proficiency in Excel and contemporary analytical platforms.
- Understanding of core corporate finance principles such as profit and loss management, cash flow, and developing KPIs for executive-level reporting.
- Proven experience working collaboratively across departments to support strategic projects and assess investment proposals.
- Ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear presentations suitable for audiences without a financial background.
- Experience or interest in the energy sector, technology fields, or sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
- Educational credentials include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related disciplines; advanced degrees or certifications like CPA or CFA are desirable.
- Capacity to work autonomously, juggle multiple priorities efficiently, and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
