Role Overview

As a Senior Analyst in Business Development for CNN International Commercial (CNNIC), you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing strategic initiatives across multiple international markets. You will work closely with senior leadership to influence growth areas such as new ventures, content distribution, and direct-to-consumer products, leveraging data analysis, strategic thinking, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop business plans, financial models, and business cases to champion strategic projects and new ventures.
• Analyze and interpret market data, business metrics, and competitor activities to produce insightful recommendations.
• Prepare structured presentations and briefing documents for senior executives and leadership teams.
• Collaborate with teams across CNNIC, CNN US, and Warner Bros. Discovery to support cross-functional projects.
• Monitor and report on business performance, key performance indicators, and return on investment (ROI) to identify optimization opportunities.
• Assist in launching and managing new business initiatives, including partnerships and operational strategies.
• Contribute to expanding priority business areas such as FAST channels and the global deployment of CNN All Access.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Background in strategy consulting, investment banking, or business development within relevant industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating detailed financial models and structured business cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable handling complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and capability in delivering clear, organized presentations.
• Experience or familiarity with media, advertising, or operating within a complex global corporation is beneficial.

This position follows a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and office work as per company policy, to be coordinated with your Line Manager. Warner Bros. Discovery reserves the right to amend this agreement as necessary with proper notice.
