Based in Dammam, Express Engineers Saudi is a leading provider specializing in the rental of equipment, with a notable focus on Diesel Generators. Their extensive inventory comprises over 200 generator units ranging from 20 KVA to 2000 KVA, offering turnkey solutions with synchronization features. Beyond generators, they supply clients with Portable Tower Lights and Portable Air Compressors to address varied project requirements.
Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position based in Dammam calls for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations. This role involves preparing and analyzing detailed financial statements, managing both accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring all activities comply with regional financial regulations. The Senior Accountant will also perform account reconciliations, institute internal financial controls, assist during audits, aid in budgeting and forecasting processes, and handle tax filing preparations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage accounts receivable and payable to maintain cash flow
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations regularly
- Implement and maintain internal controls to protect financial integrity
- Support audit processes and liaise with auditors as necessary
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities to guide business planning
- Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Collaborate effectively with finance team members and other departments
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or similar certification is preferred
- More than three years of accounting or financial management experience
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax preparation
- Good working knowledge of Quickdice ERP system
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics
- Experienced in managing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Comprehensive understanding of local financial regulations and compliance standards
- Advanced capability with accounting tools and software, including Excel
- Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset
