Role Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to enhance our financial operations within the DACH region. This position is vital in managing month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and adherence to compliance standards, collaborating closely with senior finance personnel. The role promises ample potential for professional growth, heightened accountability, and long-term career advancement as our finance department expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently managing accounting responsibilities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
- Processing travel expense reports and managing payment transactions.
- Preparation and submission of Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
- Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparations.
- Overseeing receivables management and liaising with state authorities.
- Participating actively in various financial projects and conducting financial data analysis.
- Handling administrative duties and payroll accounting tasks.
- Assisting in the transition to a new ERP system and document data entry, which will be considered advantageous.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working in finance and accounting roles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel usage.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with a goal-driven mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning and career development within the company.
- Background in accounting for hospitality sectors such as hotels or restaurants is beneficial.
- Partially or fully qualified in accounting.
