The company manages investments in a range of property types, such as suburban shopping precincts, childcare facilities, and healthcare-related commercial spaces, promoting stable, long-term returns and capital appreciation. With an entrepreneurial spirit and ambitious growth plans, the business prioritizes a hands-on approach and close collaboration with investors and assets.
Opportunity Overview
This position is designed for a technically proficient and commercially aware finance professional seeking to step into a senior accounting or finance manager role. You will oversee financial operations across multiple business entities and property unit trusts. Working closely with internal and external partners, you will provide essential reporting, ensure compliance, and drive process enhancement. The role emphasizes both leadership and operational responsibility, while offering structured mentoring and genuine progression towards a future Head of Finance position as the company expands.
Core Duties

- Direct all facets of accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, GST, and BAS filings for diverse entities.

- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and trust structures.
- Coordinate effective cash flow management and produce insightful analysis to guide business decisions.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, dashboards, and process automation to optimize efficiency and data accessibility.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Head of Operations, Fund Manager, and external accountants, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable information underpins operational and strategic choices.
Desired Background
The ideal candidate will have solid accounting fundamentals and experience, likely from an accounting firm, property business, family office, or commercial environment. Technical competence, sound judgment, and an affinity for clear communication and trustworthy relationship building are essential. Candidates should be eager to own responsibilities, develop leadership qualities, and contribute practical process improvements as the company grows.
