About the Opportunity
A newly established Single Family Office based in Singapore is seeking a Finance & Treasury Manager to become a foundational member of its core team. The role is essential for overseeing comprehensive financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting both investment and office-related financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial reporting, bookkeeping, and audit activities for the family office and its affiliated entities.
- Manage portfolio administration, including handling capital calls, monitoring assets under management, ensuring AUM reconciliation, preparing and processing subscription documents, and managing KYC, FATCA/CRS, and K-1 documentation.
- Supervise banking and treasury management tasks, navigating transactions across diverse currencies and financial custodians.
- Handle internal financial matters such as payroll processing, managing Central Provident Fund (CPF), vendor relationships, and budgeting for office expenses.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Singapore’s regulatory environment, including anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) requirements, ACRA filings, and insurance renewals.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA (current candidates or holders) are considered a strong asset.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance, fund administration, operations, or audit functions—preferably within a family office, fund manager, fund administrator, private banking, or financial services audit context.
- Sound understanding of Singapore tax and regulatory matters; prior exposure to FATCA/CRS is advantageous.
- The position demands candidates who are exceptionally reliable, detail-oriented, discreet, and highly trustworthy.
