Job description
About the Role
This position is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid work model, so you’ll split your time between home and a LinkedIn office depending on team and business needs. The role sits within the Sales Solutions organization, which supports customers in adopting a Deep Sales approach through LinkedIn Sales Navigator to help them connect with buyers, engage more effectively, and build stronger business relationships at the right moment.
As a Senior Account Executive focused on the Nordic market, you will own the full acquisition cycle for new prospects, build a healthy pipeline, and use strategic selling to show prospective customers how LinkedIn Sales Navigator can add value. You will act as a trusted advisor, help customers identify growth opportunities, and contribute to overall revenue performance and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate revenue by engaging customers and creating opportunities that benefit all parties involved.
- Show leadership in sales planning, forecasting, revenue tracking, and pipeline discipline.
- Use Sales Navigator expertly and model strong sales behaviors for the team.
- Continuously refine the solution offering and sales process using your experience and customer feedback.
- Take full ownership of your assigned accounts and revenue objectives.
- Consistently deliver on, and aim to surpass, the targets tied to your plan.
- Help define and share scalable best practices that support a growing team.
- Promote LinkedIn’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, trust, care, and a positive team culture.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 4 years of relevant sales experience and be fluent in English. Experience selling into Nordic markets is strongly preferred, and fluency in Swedish, Danish, Finnish, or Norwegian is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will also have a background selling SaaS, CRM, or other software platform solutions, along with a strong record of working toward quotas and producing results.
Other important strengths include identifying and closing senior-level business opportunities, assessing deal potential, forecasting outcomes accurately, using data and insights to guide sales decisions, and building trust-based relationships with senior sales stakeholders. Experience working across multiple buyers within one organization and collaborating with internal partners to promote a solution is also valuable.
