Role Overview

The Senior Account Executive is a client-facing sales role responsible for reaching out to prospective customers, uncovering their needs, and presenting ClearScale’s products and services. The position uses consultative selling to influence buying decisions, convert qualified leads, and contribute as a quota-carrying member of the sales team.

What You Will Do

  • Meet or surpass monthly goals for sales-qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain strong daily activity levels, including calls and emails.
  • Act as the main point of contact for ClearScale partners on product, service, transition, promotion, and process-related questions.
  • Assess and size up sales opportunities, arrange meetings, and move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Lead senior-level discussions with executives at potential client accounts.
  • Support brand initiatives, partner plays, specialty programs, and launch activities.
  • Share details about incentive, promotional, and channel marketing programs.
  • Research prospects and qualify leads every day.
  • Present ClearScale offerings by phone, email, and presentations to generate opportunities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to help campaigns succeed.
  • Create and develop new lead sources.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience selling professional or managed cloud services.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in AWS professional services sales.
  • Background in selling cloud services to enterprise customers.
  • Proven ability to work well in teams and collaborate across product, marketing, sales, leadership, and stakeholder groups.
  • Self-driven approach with the ability to build and run an individual business.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.

Location Preference
