Role overview

This is a full-time Route Sales Representative position based in Marystown, Newfoundland and Labrador. The role focuses on two core areas: growing sales and managing customer relationships, along with delivering products and maintaining store displays.

You will help build and support an expanding snack foods business across an assigned set of retail accounts, such as grocery stores, gas stations, and convenience outlets.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out in-store execution tasks such as placing products on shelves, increasing shelf presence, managing cartons returned by stores, moving inventory, and keeping shelves and racks clean
  • Monitor customer purchasing patterns and adjust efforts based on the products that are selling best
  • Grow every assigned account by improving sales volume, market share, product reach, shelf space, and customer service outcomes
  • Promote and execute both national and local campaigns, request space for additional marketing equipment and displays, and sell extra product inventory to meet customer demand
  • Track inventory carefully so that customer accounts stay balanced and products remain fresh

Required qualifications

  • Must hold a valid full Class 5 driver’s licence
  • Need access to a car, either owned or reliably available, along with a clear driving record
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience in sales within consumer packaged goods or retail is preferred
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage several priorities, solve problems, and work toward targets
