About the Role
In this Security Officer position, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and well-managed environment while providing a professional level of customer service. The role combines patrol work, responding to incidents, and interacting with clients in a courteous and approachable manner.
Available employment options include full-time and part-time work. The position is covered at Award Level 2 with penalty rates applicable. Shifts run across weekdays and weekends, including both day and night duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular patrols to protect people, property, and assets.
- Maintain a visible, professional, and welcoming security presence.
- Attend to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and other requests for help.
- Assess risks and take suitable action in line with established procedures.
- Follow all site-specific and company security requirements.
- Prepare incident documentation and keep records accurate and up to date.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should bring a valid security licence, current First Aid and CPR certification, and prior security experience. Experience in retail security is considered an advantage.
You must be available for day and night shifts across weekdays and weekends, be physically fit enough to complete patrol duties, and be able to work independently while following set procedures. Strong attention to detail, a dependable and punctual work record, and full Australian work rights are also required.
