Role overview
This position is for an experienced cybersecurity specialist who will help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely on a flexible schedule. The work is focused on checking whether AI-generated security outputs are accurate and useful in real-world situations.
As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on tasks such as reviewing generated security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that helps shape how the systems respond to genuine threats and defensive scenarios. Some people use this work as a side engagement alongside another job, while others make it their main professional focus.
How the selection process works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be made available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-created cybersecurity content, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security approaches, to judge whether the information is technically sound and practical.
- Create and solve technical security exercises used to train AI models.
- Draft precise technical explanations and write security-related code where needed.
- Share feedback that influences the development of future AI security systems.
Compensation and engagement terms
Work is compensated on an hourly basis, with projects starting at $50-$100+/hr and bonus rates offered on certain assignments. You can select the projects you want and decide when to work. The role is done on your own computer from home. Payment is issued through PayPal, and no money will ever be requested from you. This is an independent contractor arrangement.
Eligibility and requirements
This opportunity is open only to candidates located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government or military cyber work.
- Basic coding experience, with the ability to move through and patch an existing codebase.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with excellent written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar are considered an advantage.
Additional notes
Some contributors do this work alongside a full-time position, while others treat it as their primary occupation. The role supports remote work and self-managed scheduling.
