What you will do
- Carry out near-real-time security monitoring in a 24/7 environment using SIEM platforms and other cybersecurity tools.
- Review alert status, keep track of alert health, and route urgent issues in line with service-level commitments.
- Investigate security events to understand the nature and severity of potential threats.
- Respond to customer information requests and share guidance related to SOC infrastructure.
- Handle first-level review of incoming alerts and work with tier II/III teams on high-priority incidents.
What you need
- An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar discipline.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a security-focused role.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and the broader threat landscape.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability, plus a proactive approach when interacting with customers and management.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, including documentation.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an Information Security Analyst, especially with threat-hunting activities.
- Hands-on exposure to incident response workflows across different SIEM tools and familiarity with response procedures.
- Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Security certifications such as SANS GIAC, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent credentials.
