Job description

Role overview

This position is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The role focuses on applying practical security experience to assess and refine AI outputs used in cybersecurity contexts.

In this independent contractor role, you will collaborate with sophisticated AI models on assignments such as reviewing AI-written security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that helps shape how these systems understand and respond to real-world threats and defenses. Some contributors take on this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main work.

How the selection process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the interview step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid work will then be available through the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Check AI-produced cybersecurity content for practical accuracy, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security techniques.
  • Build and solve technical security tasks that help train AI systems.
  • Prepare concise technical explanations and write code relevant to security work.
  • Share feedback that influences the development of future AI security models.

Compensation and working style

Projects are paid on an hourly basis, with rates starting at $50-$100+ per hour and bonus pay available on some assignments. You can select the projects you want and work whenever it suits you, using your own computer from home.

Additional information

Payment is processed via PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any money to participate. This opportunity is open only to applicants located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The engagement is on an independent contractor basis.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Some programming experience, with the ability to work through and update an existing codebase.
  • Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, along with excellent writing ability.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.
