Seasonal Full-Time Delivery Driver

Role Overview

This seasonal full-time driving position is focused on delivering PepsiCo Beverages products to customers across Canada. The role suits someone who is energetic, dependable, physically active, and comfortable taking initiative in a hands-on environment rather than working at a desk.

People with customer service experience and a background working independently will be well aligned to this opportunity. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are important in the day-to-day work.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $34.32 per hour, with full-time hours and the chance to earn overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with account contacts while representing the brand professionally
• Deliver products accurately and on time, and unload items according to customer direction
• Prepare invoices and complete daily account settlement tasks
• Restock and rotate inventory in different environments, ensuring merchandising standards are met at every account
• Create product displays and install promotional materials such as signs and banners
• Complete all required documentation carefully and accurately
• Carry out assigned duties safely and in line with all applicable laws and transportation rules

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs during an 8 to 10 hour shift
• Capability to move heavy loads manually and with equipment, requiring strength, flexibility, agility, and endurance
• Willingness to work in changing weather and temperature conditions and to operate safely in difficult road and driving conditions

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or an equivalent credential
• Valid Class 1 CDL driver’s licence in good standing with a clean and safe driving record
• Good physical fitness
• Self-driven attitude and the ability to work with limited supervision

Preferred Assets

• Comfort with extended shifts and overtime
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
