About the Role
Join Serena & Lily as a Seasonal Customer Care Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and pleasant customer experiences during the busy winter season. As customers prepare their homes for holidays and celebrations, you will help them with orders, gift selections, and decor advice, making sure every interaction is handled flawlessly and each delivery arrives punctually.
Work Schedule and Duration
This full-time seasonal position runs from August 24, 2026, to January 15, 2027, with shifts available Monday through Friday at the following times (Pacific Standard Time): 5:30 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. Flexibility to work during holidays is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service across multiple platforms including phone, email, SMS, and live chat by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing expert design consultation.
- Develop thorough knowledge of Serena & Lily's products and services to offer accurate information, advice, and support related to current features, pricing, and promotions.
- Efficiently handle problem resolution by liaising between customers and internal departments to reach satisfactory outcomes.
- Manage order processing, returns, replacements, and post-sale transactions while ensuring customer details are current and accurate.
- Keep detailed records of customer communications and actions using CRM or other tracking systems.
- Listen attentively to customer feedback and identify trends to help enhance products, services, and processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to customer service standards, striving for professionalism, accuracy, and improved performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrated passion for exceptional service, showing patience, warmth, empathy, and positivity when addressing customer concerns.
- Effective problem-solving and strong critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong sense of accountability and organizational skills to effectively manage customer issues and multitask across platforms.
- Proficiency with customer service software, CRM systems, and similar tools.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced remote work setup.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with excellent command of English.

This fully remote role is open to applicants residing in select U.S. states including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington.
Compensation for this position is $22 per hour. Though temporary, there is potential for extension to a permanent full-time role.
