About the team
The ADSO Evaluation and Investigation team partners closely with the Search team. Using established evaluation standards and guiding principles, the team manually reviews search queries and their corresponding results pages to capture the actual user experience of search.
Role overview
This position focuses on search evaluation operations, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination. The role is designed to improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of evaluation processes while uncovering user experience issues and growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out detailed evaluations and deeper analysis to uncover experience gaps, spot new growth possibilities, and translate findings into practical business insights.
- Own search evaluation projects from start to finish, including early-stage planning, delivery design, and execution, while ensuring work is accurate, efficient, and insight-driven.
- Develop, improve, and standardize operational guidelines, evaluation approaches, and SOPs in collaboration with teams across functions.
- Serve as the connection point between technical and operational stakeholders, supporting clear communication, training, and standardization efforts so processes stay consistent.
- Strengthen operational efficiency by improving infrastructure, tools, and workflows to support timely delivery.
- Handle urgent requests and ad-hoc work tied to search projects with flexibility, ownership, and a problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher is required. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in product operations or project management, along with strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn data into decisions and solutions. Excellent communication skills are important, especially for working across multiple teams and coordinating cross-functional work. Project management experience is an advantage. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, self-driven, and able to perform well in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred background
It is helpful to have a solid understanding of search engine mechanics and familiarity with TikTok or similar social media platforms, especially with respect to user behavior, content ecosystems, and user growth opportunities.
