School Bus Monitor

Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a School Bus Monitor/Aide who embodies our dedication to safety and excellent customer service. This role involves overseeing operational aspects, managing daily tasks, and assisting bus drivers to ensure safe transportation on school routes.

Key Duties

• Observe and regulate student behavior to maintain safety during bus rides.
• Support the loading and unloading processes of students.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with bus drivers, parents, and school personnel.
• Perform safety inspections before and after trips and aid drivers during backing maneuvers.
• Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and carry out basic cleaning of the bus.

• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail paired with good judgment abilities.
• Calm and composed demeanor when handling stressful situations.
• Availability to work during early morning hours.
