Job description
Department and Employment Details
This role is within the 10010 AH at Home HH: University City - Administration department. It is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with eligibility for benefits.
Work Schedule
The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend rotations and holiday shifts.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $20.80 to $31.20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to system or clinician scheduling requests ensuring referrals and ongoing care appointments follow policies and accommodate patient needs.
- Utilize scheduling software, communication tools, and reports to coordinate patient visits effectively and accurately within system modules.
- Ensure all referral information is complete and accessible within the Electronic Medical Record when necessary.
- Provide timely reports to leadership regarding obstacles impacting productivity, staffing shortages, or delayed clinician communications/documentation.
- Monitor assigned reports to ensure compliance with scheduling policies and regulations, alerting management when scheduling falls outside guidelines.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The role is office-based and requires long periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of progressively responsible secretarial or administrative experience is required, with three years preferred. Strong organizational, oral and written communication, multitasking/prioritization, and customer service skills are preferred along with proficient typing and computer capabilities.
