About the Role
We are seeking an energetic Sales Team Lead to spearhead growth across our merchant and consumer payment platforms. This leadership position requires a candidate with over two years of successful sales experience, ideally within Telecom, Fintech, or FMCG industries. The role combines hands-on team management with strategic direction, focusing on building a motivated and high-achieving sales unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and directly supervise a team of field sales executives, ensuring daily targets and territorial performance goals are consistently attained.
- Organize and execute regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the product knowledge and sales skills of team members.
- Mentor individual team members through personalized coaching, performance assessments, and development planning.
- Drive merchant acquisition and activation efforts, consistently achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of solid sales experience, preferably from Telecom, Fintech, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate sales teams effectively in challenging environments.
- Strong leadership skills with an aptitude for strategic planning and on-ground execution.
- Exceptional communication and coaching capabilities to foster team development.
