Role Overview
The Sales Supervisor II role is focused on driving business growth for Almarai Bakery products in the assigned territory. The position requires close control over sales and distribution performance, strict compliance with company procedures, and consistent maintenance of high merchandising standards. Strong day-to-day leadership of the sales team is central to success in this role.
Key Duties
- Lead daily handovers with salesmen and assistant salesmen, and monitor their performance on a day-to-day basis.
- Handle morning dispatch activities to make sure all sales vans leave the depot on schedule, while assisting with any issues team members face before departing for the market.
- Set and review sales targets regularly to keep the team aligned with growth objectives.
- Introduce new routes and reassess existing coverage to improve resource utilization.
- Carry out route rides and field evaluations for all salesmen in the assigned area.
Requirements
The employer is looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of supervisory sales experience in a van sales setting. Prior key account management exposure is required. The role also calls for strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, along with solid knowledge of FMCG sales operations, numerical and analytical ability, team leadership, teamwork, and negotiating capability.
