About the Role
This position is focused on guiding a self-managed, cross-functional team to process and pack seafood items such as shrimp, salmon, and mixed fish species. The role ensures work is completed in line with company standards, production schedules, food safety rules, and quality expectations while maintaining yield and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate team members so daily seafood production goals are met according to product requirements and quality benchmarks.
- Train and coach employees on the job so they can carry out tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with SOPs and food safety guidelines.
- Monitor seafood processing steps such as cutting, trimming, glazing, sorting, grading, and packing to protect yield and product quality.
- Work with the Planning Department to review production plans and ensure products are available on schedule.
- Support internal customers by delivering the correct product, at the required time, and to the correct specification.
- Maintain compliance with company quality controls and food safety expectations for all seafood products.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in food technology, fish processing, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Experience of 1 to 4 years in a comparable role within seafood or food processing operations is needed.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards is expected.
- Strong communication ability in both English and Arabic is required.
