Role overview
The Sales Operations team builds the go-to-market engine that connects LinkedIn’s solutions to customer needs at scale. In this role, you will work closely with sales managers and leaders on high-impact strategic topics that influence revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. You will also help lead and expand operational and planning work, including automation and process improvement using corporate AI tools, as well as territory, target, and planning activities with cross-functional partners such as Finance.
This position requires a strong strategic mindset, clear communication, and the ability to work with many stakeholders on critical business decisions. You should be comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information, adapting to change, challenging existing approaches, and contributing positively in a fast-moving environment.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid role. Work is split between home and a LinkedIn office on selected days based on the business needs of the team.
Responsibilities
- Own and support decision-making projects that influence LinkedIn’s future go-to-market model.
- Drive strategic planning using data-backed insights across areas such as customer segmentation, headcount, financial planning, territory planning, and quota setting.
- Monitor business results and turn performance trends into recommendations that help sales leadership with forecasting.
- Manage sales operations workstreams including process improvement through corporate AI tools, quota administration, territory assignment, audits, and the creation of reports and dashboards.
- Build effective partnerships with Sales Operations peers and cross-functional teams including business operations, sales leadership, compensation, finance, and systems.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in management consulting, finance, sales operations, business operations, or another analytical/operational role.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Excel, SQL, GitHub, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use data and insights to shape decisions and influence outcomes.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- Capability to improve and automate processes using AI systems and tools.
- Experience presenting effectively to senior executives.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Exposure to Tableau and/or Presto is preferred.
- Drive to challenge the norm and help the business succeed.
- Strong problem-solving ability for complex, high-priority strategic work.
