About the role

Join a team focused on new business development for LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions offering in the UKI market. The position is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid working model, with time split between home and a LinkedIn office according to team and business needs.

LinkedIn aims to help professionals grow, connect, and discover opportunities while fostering a workplace culture rooted in trust, care, inclusion, and enjoyment.

What you will do

  • Drive outbound prospecting to build a healthy pipeline and establish strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and provide clear, dependable forecasts to management.
  • Consistently close new business at or above quota expectations.
  • Create, refine, and execute a territory plan while capturing and sharing competitive intelligence.
  • Support teammates through coaching and practical guidance whenever improvement opportunities arise.
  • Help define and spread best practices that strengthen the team’s approach.

Success in this role

  • Gather market feedback and share useful insights with product and marketing partners.
  • Take initiative in solving issues, even when they fall outside your immediate scope.
  • Step into leadership opportunities and contribute to broader company goals.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Preferred: 1 or more years of closing sales experience.
  • Preferred: experience selling HR tech or recruitment solutions.
  • Preferred: exposure to SaaS sales and Salesforce.com and/or Dynamics CRM.
  • Preferred: familiarity with software contract terms and conditions, with the ability to structure fair deals.
  • Preferred: strong negotiation ability and accurate forecasting skills.
  • Preferred: proven success in finding, managing, and closing high-value deals in an evangelist-style sales environment.
  • Preferred: ability to evaluate business opportunities using data and influence decision-making.
  • Preferred: capability to juggle many prospect conversations at once while positioning products against direct and indirect competitors.
