Job description
Role Overview
Mondelēz International is looking for a Sales Revenue Planner in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time on-site role sits within the Sales function and focuses on revenue management, trade spend optimization, planning, execution, and analysis to improve return on investment.
The position is part of the Category Planning & Activation area and requires a senior-level professional with strong category management expertise. Travel may be flexible, and relocation support is not available.
Planning
- Build customer- and channel-level plans for category and SKU volumes, together with the associated spend assumptions.
- Partner closely with sales colleagues to shape plans that are commercially sound and aligned to business goals.
- Lead planning for new product launches and activations, monitor performance during the launch period, and complete post-launch reviews.
Execution
- Carry out the required checks and approvals to ensure all trade plans are implemented accurately and on time.
- Deliver activations and launches with strong execution discipline, making sure responsibilities, timelines, and actions are clear to everyone involved.
- Track compliance of promotional flyers against the agreed plan and take corrective steps when needed.
- Respond proactively to unexpected issues and emerging opportunities.
Analysis
- Analyze category and customer data, including primary data and EPOS data, to help stakeholders understand trends, issues, drivers of success, and areas that need action.
- Maintain a clear view of the trade environment for the relevant categories and the competitive landscape, and share insights that support better decision-making.
- Understand category and customer P&Ls and explain why performance is tracking above or below plan.
Key Contribution Areas
- Track progress against revenue KPIs with customer teams.
- Support promotional post-evaluations together with Finance and Marketing.
- Provide recurring reporting to the Customer Planning Manager, including volume tracking, trade spend, share of promoted activity, and seasonal in-flight monitoring.
- Monitor how cost price increases are realized in the market.
- Coordinate with customer teams and Sales Finance to ensure trade spend is correctly accruing in the system.
- Join customer forecast reviews to understand customer behavior and identify plan risks and opportunities.
- Approve promotional activity within guideline limits and review promotional spend regularly.

Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in trade marketing, category planning, or marketing.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong MS Office capability, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Senior candidate with expert-level category management capability.
Education
A university degree in business or another related discipline is required.
