About the Organization

NOBLE delivers sustainment and operational support to U.S. military and civilian government customers, offering a broad mix of mission-essential products and services.

Role Overview

The Sales Representative for the U.S. Coast Guard (Pacific) will focus on building strong customer connections by offering practical solutions, mission-aligned products, and efficient procurement support that helps remove day-to-day challenges for customers. The role centers on managing accounts and end-user relationships, creating and executing a sales approach with guidance from senior leadership, and engaging with customers regularly through field visits and other communication channels. Work will include creating orders, preparing quotations, sharing product details and demonstrations, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a polished, professional presence with a proactive attitude.

Territory Coverage

This position covers the USCG Southwest District in California; the USCG Northwest District in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana; the USCG Oceania District covering Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and the wider Central and Western Pacific; and the USCG Arctic District in Alaska.

Customer and Mission Focus

The primary customer support area is procurement for U.S. Coast Guard units in the listed districts, with emphasis on shore-based Civil Engineering Units such as CEU Oakland, CEU Honolulu, and CEU Juneau, as well as surface operations including U.S. Coast Guard stations on the West Coast.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver quarterly and annual revenue and profit results that meet or exceed targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers and vendors while generating opportunities in the assigned region and, when needed, in new markets.
  • Track and present a weekly sales pipeline covering opportunities, quotations, and orders.
  • Work with customers to define requirements for upcoming bids and contract pricing for company-provided equipment and services.
  • Travel to customer sites and participate in symposiums, conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and vendor ride-alongs to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Gather market, customer, competitor, opportunity, and risk information and share it with the company.
  • Prepare pricing offers and establish appropriate credit terms, contract terms, warranty terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Use internal CRM and ERP tools to manage quotations and order processing.
  • Support inside sales by entering data, preparing customer quotes, and identifying suitable funding sources.
  • Suggest products based on customer needs and usage requirements.
  • Handle administrative work such as reports, sales records, and expense submissions within corporate deadlines.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders on product design, enhancements, modifications, and performance improvements.
  • Process quotation requests received by written, electronic, or phone-based channels with accuracy.
  • Create marketing approaches that generate new leads within the existing territory.
  • Apply a combined inside/outside sales model for territory planning, customer strategy, vendor coordination, and dealer-of-record activity.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, colleagues, customers, subcontractors, vendors, business partners, and suppliers.
  • Own the full customer sales cycle from first contact through closing and follow-through.
  • Keep a current Google Calendar tracking customer calls, travel, and pipeline activity.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in a sales representative role.
  • Working knowledge of government sales and federal contracting.
  • Background with the Department of Defense, military, federal agencies, the U.S. Coast Guard, and/or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation capability.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to secure a security clearance if the role requires it.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales experience, or 5 years of industry experience in place of a degree.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, internet search tools, and ideally NetSuite or another ERP platform.
  • Capable of working in a typical office setting and meeting customers in varied environments.
  • Must be able to maintain a personal at-home office for administrative tasks.
